We have collaborated with Convera for Unity Bank to offer Incoming International Payments, a timely and reliable option for receiving international payments directly into your nominated bank account from almost anywhere in the world, in over 35 currencies. You can receive the full amount sent to you with no beneficiary deduct fees.1
The funds will usually arrive in 2-3 business days2 into your Unity Bank account. Other benefits of using our Incoming International Payments service include the ability to lock in a competitive exchange rate for 72hours3 and if you have your sender send the money in their local currency, you can still receive in AUD.
It is a low cost alternative3 to SWIFT transactions that typically incur fees on inward payments and can take up to 60 days to clear.

Receiving money using Unity Bank's service
- Click on the online form button on the right hand side – Receive money from overseas through our service and arrangement with Convera.
- Choose the country you are receiving funds from.
- Complete the relevant information in the online form and submit.
- You will be then presented with the PDF deposit instructions. Please save it for your reference and email it to your payee/ follow payment instructions.
- Ask the sender to :
- present these instructions to their bank when sending the payment to you;
- deposit the amount into the dedicated account as stated in the instructions in local currency and not in AUD;
- instruct bank teller to include the “Payment Notes” in the bank’s reference field as specified in the PDF deposit instructions;
- please request your remitter (sender) email you a copy of the bank transfer receipt showing the date, amount and transaction number. This information may be of assistance in locating the transaction (if required).
